The 7th Annual Black Hills Super 6 Mountain Bike Race will be held on Saturday, August 16, 2025, at Big Hill Trails. We are excited to announce the addition of an inaugural trail run. The bike race and trail run will occur simultaneously, on separate courses. Early bird registration opens on June 1.
Enjoy the Black Hills National Forest and help raise money for Northern Hills Area CASA, a non-profit 501(c)(3) organization. Northern Hills CASA (Court Appointed Special Advocates) promotes and protects the best interests of abused and neglected children through the advocacy efforts of trained volunteers. All proceeds benefit victims of child maltreatment in eight counties of western South Dakota.
The Black Hills Super 6 Mountain Bike Race is intended for participants of various ages and ability levels. The 3-hour/3-mile bike loop is designed as a short course for beginner riders. The 6-hour/6-mile course is geared for intermediate-advanced riders. The team option for the 3-hour bike race is for two participants. The six-hour team event consists of 2-4 riders. To register as a team, the team captain signs up, creates the team name and password, and enters the teammates’ emails. Then, they will receive a link to register and join the team.
NOTE: When registering for a bike or running team event, it must be the only event you are registering for within that one particular transaction. Solo registrations, meadow parking, and t-shirt sales must be completed on a separate transaction. The ITSYOURRACE fees are consistent and will be the same, regardless of if you are doing one or several transactions.

The Black Hills Super 6 Inaugural Trail Run offers 3- and 6-hour options, with both utilizing a 3-mile loop, separate from the bike courses. The 3-hour run can be completed as an individual or as a 2-person team. Gather your friends and form a team (2-4 participants) for the 6-hour event, or go solo, if desired. Participants will complete as many laps as possible during a 3-hour or 6-hour time duration. There will be a separate aid station designated for runners. Having two types of races occurring simultaneously is a unique opportunity, all in support of the CASA Cause.
