A Solid Team Serving Area Youth
The NHCASA Staff serves children in the Northern Black Hills through volunteer management and case supervision.
Under strong leadership, the NHCASA Staff strives to ensure every abused or neglected child involved in court proceedings in the Northern Hills is appointed a Court Appointed Special Advocate volunteer.

Kate Kelley
Executive Director
Kate served as the NHCASA Development Associate from 2004 – 2007. Following her employment as the Western Area Director for U.S. Representative Stephanie Herseth-Sandlin from 2007 – 2011, Kate returned to NHCASA to fill the Development Associate position. She stepped into the role of Executive Director in August of 2011.

Renae Servaty
Director of Program Management
Renae accepted the position of Development Associate in September of 2011. Previously, she was the Executive Director of the Booth Society at the D.C. Booth Historic Fish Hatchery and holds degrees in Biology and Education. Renae supports NHCASA through grant writing, marketing, website and social media management, event promotion, fundraising, and case management.

Amy Cermak
Child Advocacy Specialist
The Northern Hills Area CASA welcomed Amy to the team in May of 2016. Serving as the Case Supervisor, she oversees volunteer management and case reporting. Amy holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Elementary Education and a Master’s Degree in Educational Administration. Her experience with children, coupled with community leadership, supports the foundation of the NHCASA organization. Amy recently received an executive certification in Children’s Law & Policy.

Brenda Mosset
Office Administrator
Brenda joined the NHCASA team in June of 2016. She brings her organization and office management skills to keep the office functioning to fulfill the needs of the children we serve.
