Bringing Christmas to CASA Kids

NHCASA is able to bring some Christmas joy to the children who need it most each year with the help of area residents and businesses supporting our efforts.

Northern Hill’s area businesses graciously host Christmas trees for our annual CASA Kids Tree Project.

The generosity of the people in our communities is truly overwhelming! With your support, we will deliver more than 300 gifts to the abused and neglected children in our area! Although Christmas is not supposed to be about the gifts, for the children we serve who are away from their families and placed in foster care, the gifts may be all they have to look forward to this time of year. By sharing with a child in need, you are helping us celebrate the true meaning of Christmas, love and selfless acts of kindness.

Spearfish: Perkins, Bomgaars, Pioneer Bank,  Black Hills Salt Cave, Creekside Bean & Vine, Meyer-Dana Orthodontics, BetterLife

Belle Fourche: Scott Peterson Motors, Runnings

Sturgis: Lynn’s, Scott Peterson Motors

Tags are available at the above locations November 26 to December 13.

Gifts must be returned to a tree location by December 13 or NHCASA.

Thank you again for making this community a great place to live and most of all, for making this a brighter Christmas for our children.

Keeping the children’s names confidential, NHCASA staff and volunteer compile the wish lists of each child and hang them on the trees. The public is invited to select a list and purchase one or more items and return them, unwrapped, to the store or to the CASA office.

NHCASA Hosts a Wrap Party each year to allow volunteers and community members to wrap the donated gifts for the children.

If you are interested in helping with this project in the future, please contact the CASA office below.
