CASA of the Northern Hills - Wish List

CASA kids

NHCASA works hard to keep our administrative costs as low as possible. By receiving new donated goods, we are able to allocate our limited funds to recruit more CASA volunteers and provide the training needed to serve our children. To donate items, please contact Alesha Limbo, Administrative Assistant, at (605) 722-4558, toll free (877) 505-7500, or visit our Contact Us page.

Become a NHCASA Partner

NHCASA is a 501(C) 3 non-profit organization and operates on grants and donations from businesses and the community. Fundraising is essential in order to continue providing services to children and youth we serve each year. Without the support of the community, we could not serve all of the abused children who enter our system.

Your company can be a sponsor at one or more of our annual fundraising events. This always entitles you to tickets to our events and can be a rewarding pleasure for your most dedicated staff.

Adopt a Child Program

It costs about $2,860 to provide an advocate for a child for one year. Your business, organization, family or individuals can sponsor the provision of an advocate to a child for all or part of a year. The donation can be a onetime gift or $235 each month. In 2010, NHCASA served 134 children. Please consider being a sponsor.

A Uniquely Yours Company/Organization Fundraising Event

Your business or organization can help NHCASA provide advocates to the children by holding your own exclusive event involving your staff, clients or patrons. Your event will raise money for NHCASA but should be uniquely created around the work of your company or the interests of your staff and clients. This could involve your clients and help promote them as well. You will have an opportunity to place an article and perhaps an ad that talks about your company or an ad that could list all of the clients you have who contribute to your campaign, promoting both your business and that of your client as partners to the children in the community. It helps nonprofits as a whole when a business promotes how it is helping charities to other businesses in the area. It encourages them to develop their own giving program.

Host a "Mi CASA es su CASA" party for fundraising or volunteer recruitment

Throw a small party for your friends to get to know CASA, or host a fundraising cocktail party for many … you decide! This is your chance to share your casa and your CASA with others by hosting a get-together of your choosing. NHCASA will support you in the planning process with ideas, CASA informational resources and more.

Join a NHCASA Event Committee

NHCASA events are run by volunteer committees who coordinate with our staff. Joining an event committee can be a rewarding and social way to support and volunteer for NHCASA, especially for those who do not have the time to become an Advocate.
